Then, we want to hear from you!SUMMARY OF DUTIESIn this position, you will perform support services duties for the district's managers, case managers, eligibility staff and provide customer services to clients, their families and the general public.Major duties include:• 50% of the time will be providing reception coverage. Telephone reception includes but is not limited to: receiving incoming phone calls, routing calls, taking messages, providing general information and initial screening for programs and services our agency provides. Referrals to other agencies and community resources when appropriate. Responsible for enabling/disabling the night service daily and to forward messages left on the General Delivery mailbox.• Process homecare worker vouchers and medical mileage but is not limited to: Review documents for completion, inputting data into systems, generate vouchers, PTC system, processing facility payments and corrections, problem solving with case managers.• Assist Homecare workers over the phone and in public with the Provider time capture system, data entry, payment issuance and complete adjustments to prevent overpayment or underpayments.• Performs other duties as assigned which could include but not limited to assisting APD case management team, general office, customer service/assisting front recent and record processing tasks.WORKING CONDITIONS:Works primarily in a general office environment. May come into contact with frustrated individuals, and those with behavioral and/or cognitive challenges. Occasional travel to attend employee trainings. A driver's license is required and an acceptable driving record.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.OR• An associate degree in any field.OR• An equivalent combination of education and experience.ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:• Face-to-face customer service experience in an office setting with a culturally diverse population• Experience gathering information from customers to help determine the type of services to meet the needs of the customer• Experience handling a high volume of multiple tasks with competing deadlines• Experience working with a variety of software and/or databases in an office setting with repetitive data entry• Experience managing and defusing difficult situations with the goal of a positive outcome.ATTENTION ALL CANDIDATES!Clearly describe how you meet the minimum qualifications and essential attributes in your application materials.
