✨ The Role

Join Staycation as an International Business Developer and lead the expansion of our offering into new markets across Europe.

Staycation has been a phenomenal success in France, creating a new habit in the daily lives of millions of users and a vibrant local market for thousands of hotels.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to bring this success to multiple countries in Europe.

As part of our Sales team, you’ll be guided by Camille, our Business Developer Lead, and receive training on our tools and methodologies to get up to speed quickly.

Your mission will be to introduce Staycation to local customers in new markets and position us as the preferred partner for hotels.

🚨 Please note: Your work will primarily be conducted in English and Dutch, both written and spoken, as we operate across international markets.

📍 Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for signing up hotels and gradually developing our offering in various European markets:

  • Sign hotels by managing the full sales cycle, from first contact to onboarding.

  • Build strong engagement with our first partner hotels and guide them to their initial successes on our platform.

  • Optimize their positioning to ensure they meet the expectations of local users.

  • Play a key role in scaling our service across major cities in Europe.

  • Secure partnerships with key hotels, managing the full sales cycle.

🎯 You’re the Ideal Fit If You Have:

Must-Haves

  • At least one previous experience in business development/sales, preferably in startups or the tech sector.

  • Affinity or experience with the hospitality industry, or studies in hospitality/tourism.

  • Proficiency in English and Dutch.

  • A passion for challenges, resilience, and creativity to overcome obstacles.

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to implement new ideas.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience launching markets or supporting international expansion.

  • Knowledge of the hospitality market and networks in one or more European countries.

  • Fluency in additional languages, especially French.
