SUMMARY
 
Fuels the company's social media channels with engaging social-first Subaru brand content developed in partnership with stakeholders across the organization, sourced from our vehicle owners and brand fans, and/or creates custom content as needed. Collaborates with Social Media & Influencer Strategy Manager on influencer campaign management and paid social creative reviews. Tracks and understands social performance metrics, as well as how to implement key learnings into social media strategy to increase Subaru brand affinity and demand. 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sources the best social media brand stories across the Subaru organization and creates and/or curates any/all published content (static images, video, etc.) and customizes content as needed for deployment across all individual social media platforms.
  • Maintains responsibility for the deployment of approximately half (~50%) of Subaru of America’s (SOA's) posts throughout the year (approximately one thousand [~1,000] deployments/year out of two thousand [~2,000] across the brand; colleague will deploy approximately half [~50%] of other posts).
  • Measures performance of paid and organic social campaigns and provides key learnings and optimization recommendations.
  • Acts as a social media thought leader within SOA, providing strategic counsel, best practices, and a measurement plan for campaign-level project managers.
  • Supports influencer campaign and relationship management including: 
    • Creating influencer project briefs to inform agency partners. 
    • Identifying and vetting prospective influencers. 
    • Developing or reviewing directional creative briefs for influencer campaigns. 
    • Drafting influencer agreements from contract template in consultation with Social Media & Influencer Strategy Manager. 
    • Ordering and tracking vehicles and accessories. 
    • Utilizing Docusign templates to issue promotional lease agreements. 
    • Reviewing and providing feedback on influencer content. 
    • Supporting influencer engagement programs by resharing influencer content on SOA social channels.
  • Stays updated on current issues/events, as well as trends, tools. and best practices in social media to maximize opportunities and continually evolve our strategic plan.
  • Collaborates with Social Media & Influencer Strategy Manager to implement any changes to the evolving social media landscape (this includes emerging trends, new or evolving social platforms, channel optimization, cross-post brand strategy, and measurement/deployment tools).
  • Follows corporate policies and guidelines to ensure consistency in brand voice and adherence to our overarching social strategy.
 
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attends brand and product, corporate social responsibility, and enthusiast events to cover for social media channels and/or manage influencers in attendance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting for campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Content creation capabilities, including photo/video capture and light editing in Photoshop, Adobe Express, CapCut.
  • Organized self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, multi-task, manage projects, and handle time-sensitive material in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with solid understanding of social media analytics including Sprout Social, Facebook and Instagram Insights, and Twitter/X and TikTok Analytics.
  • Demonstrated excellent social media judgement (ex: knowing what to say and when to say it, how to best respond to fans/customers, etc.).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Genuine interest in Subaru and automotive industry.
  • Experience with influencer marketing, Preferred.
  • Drivers License Required. 
 
WORK ENVIORNMENT
  • Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)   
  • Travel: 20%

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 2-4 years' of relevant experience required


COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $70000 - $95000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. (Internal Job Grade: P2)
