THE SUPERVISOR, SOLAR ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT POSITION

Sunnova Energy is searching for The Supervisor, Solar account Management responsible for overseeing and optimizing the project pipeline between originators and installers within Sunnova Energy's Originator/ Installer channel. This role is crucial in meeting installation and revenue targets by effectively tracking project progress, financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.  Identifying bottlenecks and implementing strategies to streamline the process and reduce cycle times. 

The Supervisor, Solar account Management will work with a small team of direct reports to meet goals and targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive project completion and enhance overall operational efficiency while focusing on timeline improvements. 


THE SUPERVISOR, SOLAR ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBLITIES

•Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Project Leads responsible for tracking project progress and facilitating communication between originators and installers. 

•Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire project pipeline, from initiation to completion, to ensure timely progress and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). 

•Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics, such as installation goals and revenue generation, to identify trends and areas for improvement. 

•Problem-Solving: Analyze project delays and bottlenecks to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to accelerate project completion. 

•Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. 

•Reporting: Generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and key insights to inform management and drive decision-making. 

•Tool Development: Identify and develop tools and resources to enhance team efficiency and improve project tracking capabilities. 

•Weekly Pipeline Calls: Conduct weekly pipeline calls with originators and installers to review project status, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•5+ years' experience in sales, account management, or related role    

•5+ years solar PV and storage adaptive home technology solutions 

•Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance. 

•Strong understanding of solar energy industry and sales processes 

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

•Proficiency in project management and CRM tools 

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  

•Strong computer skills; including Microsoft, Office Suite    


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•2+ years of routine use of Excel for analysis and graphically communicating insights regarding data. 

•2+ years’ Salesforce software experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 

•Knowledge of solar industry regulations and compliance requirements 

•Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
