Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for both pre and post technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Potential Candidate will be an individual contributor working closely with Engineering, Sales, Extended teams and suppliers to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements with best quality control.
Project Manager is the most critical position to ensure our success in all of our projects. Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Coordinate with the integration team and production line to ensure smooth prototyping as well as mass production timelines, considering the intricacies of onsite server rack deployments
• Actively participate in or host customer meetings to discuss project status, timelines, and any server rack design-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with the engineering and manufacturing teams
• Work cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and drive for timely resolution of issues
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, Operation teams and suppliers to align product delivery plans according to sales forecast and customer orders with highest quality control
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, Design engineers and Operation team to produce comprehensive design proposals and detailed delivery plans, specifically tailored to the onsite server rack installations
• Communicate with purchasing teams and key suppliers to prepare all necessary materials and equipment required for customer projects, considering the specific requirements of the server rack installations
• Work with Business Development Managers, Sales, Field Application Engineers, and customers for rack system products’ project management
• Define escalation paths pertaining to the projects and drive for on-time-delivery
• Make efficiency enhancements to our existing process to eliminate redundancy and increase its effectiveness
• Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience in project management or program management, with a significant portion of that experience dedicated to electronics cooling
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, as the Project Manager will be required to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding all aspects of engineering design support
• Some domestic and international travel required
• Mandarin speaking is desired
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
$103,000 - $120,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
