Job Summary:
Provide support for corporate initiatives across wide-ranging areas of sustainability/ESG impact.
Job Description:
Support corporate-level sustainability/ESG strategy development and goal setting activities.
Distill and present internal and external data to assist corporate leaders with directing sustainability/ESG objectives and initiatives.
Engage and educate various internal stakeholders on sustainability/ESG priorities and impacts.
Leading subject matter expertise, work collaboratively across the organization to support identification and implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives.
Support sustainability/ESG reporting through developing content, capturing and analyzing applicable data, and coordinating details and data with business unit partners.
Monitor industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into the business as needed; track new and proposed reporting frameworks and guidelines.
Represent the company in applicable industry and sustainability associations and coalitions.
Take responsibility for technical leadership of projects; may act as a team leader (but not administrative supervisor) for work group; works independently.
Performs other/additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Experience or certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum 9 years’ experience in ESG, Sustainability or related fields. Experience in the oil and gas production, midstream, or refining strongly preferred.
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
GIS knowledge preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members at all levels required.
