We are a San Francisco-based Series-A stage company founded by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms, including Khosla Ventures, F-Prime Capital, and Valor Equity Partners. Since its founding, System2 has been going through exponential growth. System2 founders Dilan Dane & Yuran Lu are ex-MIT serial entrepreneurs who've previously built and sold companies to Google, Dropbox, etc.
Your role
As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in helping us scale the organization and support our rapid growth. You’ll take ownership of team performance, operational processes, and growth metrics, driving efficiency and achieving ambitious business goals. You’ll also own driving end-user retention via product-driven service quality improvements. You’ll report directly to the CEO, contributing to both quarterly and annual strategic planning processes while ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement systems that scale operations while enhancing service quality. Collaborate on product-driven initiatives to delight users.
Own and deliver on a set of OKRs tied to revenue growth, customer satisfaction and retention, and operational efficiency
Design, implement, and optimize processes and software solutions to improve team performance and scalability
Build and deliver dashboards and reports to track team performance and operational metrics
Contribute to quarterly and annual planning processes, aligning team priorities with company objectives
Develop strategies to achieve short-term and long-term growth targets
Collaborate with the leadership team to drive innovation and solve key challenges
Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and mission-driven culture
Stay informed of industry best practices and operational innovations
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in operations or a related field with a track record of scaling teams and achieving measurable success. Experience in management consulting, high-growth tech, or early-stage startups is a major plus.
Leadership: Proven ability to develop talent, build culture, and lead teams through growth.
Execution: Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious growth targets and delivering measurable results.
Data-Driven: Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and leveraging insights for strategic decisions.
Strategic Thinking: Experience contributing to long-term planning and translating strategy into action.
Industry Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for health, fitness, and the mission of empowering influencers to transform lives.
Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with operational tools, CRMs, and reporting software is a bonus.
