Systems Administrator I

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administers and supports the daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers
• Installs hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and implements network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
• Trains staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration (hardware and software), and provide instruction on computers and applications

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in administrating and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers
• Zero to two (0-2) years' professional experience in systems administration
• High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
