The Mindshare Referral Program represents one of Talkiatry's biggest strategic bets for 2024 and beyond. This program is critical to our vision for transforming how mental healthcare integrates with traditional medicine. That's where you come in. As Head of Account Management, you'll lead the team that unlocks the potential of our partnerships to create lasting impact. You'll build and scale a world-class account management organization that drives provider satisfaction, referral growth, and partner retention. This isn't just a management role - it's an opportunity to define how healthcare organizations collaborate to deliver better care.

Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.   

 

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.


You Will:


Team Leadership & Strategy  

Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing account management team

Design and execute an account management strategy to provide hospitality led support to our partners while delivering against program goals

Create a framework for strategic account planning, coach account managers on implementing a refined playbook

Foster a high-performance, partner-centric culture with the team, encouraging innovation, accountability and continuous improvement


Strategic Partner Engagement 

Create frameworks for driving physician adoption and referral growth

Develop proven approaches for navigating complex practice environments

Lead strategic reviews with partner executives and clinical leaders

Spearhead successful launch and expansion playbooks for major partnerships

Act as senior escalation point for complex provider relationships


Build for Scale 

Design scalable processes for partner onboarding and growth

Develop enablement tools that support efficient partnership management

Build training programs that ensure consistent, high-quality partner support

Analyze partner data and feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks  

Collaborate with Mindshare program leadership and other internal stakeholders to ensure partner needs are understood and met  

 


You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in account management/business development, with focus on provider relationships
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience managing relationships with health system executives and clinical leaders
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven success using data to drive partner outcomes
  • Strategic thinker who can build scalable processes while maintaining service quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools, Hubspot preferred, and account management best practices.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and SQL preferred
  • Healthcare technology experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required

$170,000 - $190,000 a year
Compensation range for this position is $170 - 190K Base, $230K OTE, depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications
