We match, service and enable companies every day to find their perfect office space, and we’re just getting started.The RoleWe’re looking for an operator who can help us take our SF business to the next level. This person will be responsible for getting more office space onboarded onto Tandem’s platform and for ensuring all SF customer tours are executed smoothly. This role will require extensive travel throughout San Francisco - scouting out new office spaces, touring customers, onboarding new Hosts, and more. Expect this role to be about 60-70% in person tours & meetings around the city.This role will report directly to one of Tandem’s Founders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong track record in high-touch, customer-facing operations teams.You will…• Be the face of Tandem to potential customers and partners, representing the company in-person and communicating how we can support teams with empty space.• Build a pipeline of qualified office spaces to onboard to Tandem’s marketplace• Co-create a repeatable, scalable playbook with Tandem’s co-founder to take a prospective space from cold lead to listed & toured space on Tandem’s platform• Work with SF’s founder community to tour growing teams around offices within Tandem’s portfolio, providing advice & process transparency in real time• Develop relationships with third-party partners in the office market to expand Tandem’s supply• Work with the demand team to find the perfect spaces for teams looking in San Francisco• Provide inputs to the product & engineering teams to help develop our matchmaking algorithmWhat we’re looking for• Strong interpersonal skills & HIGHLY social - you will be meeting with lots and lots of potential customers• Low ego and willing to do anything - you will sometimes have to take the trash out… yes, we’ve all been there!• Open-minded experimenter - you may get slapped in the face a few times trying wacky things… we will expect you to get right back up and do it again!CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN SF AND BE WILLING TO SPEND SIGNIFICANT TIME TRAVELING AROUND THE CITY!Preferred Qualifications• 2-5 years of experience in an operations / sales / consulting role• Prior experience in a client-facing / customer-facing role (e.g., consulting, sales)• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup• Excellent verbal & written communicatorWe will provide• Competitive salary + equity• Chance to have ownership over building something from 0 to 1 in a space with proven demand• Hard working, supportive, and kind team• Individual mentorship and career opportunities working alongside a highly experienced teamMore on usRead the story of why we started Tandem here.Check out our Launch YC here.
