As the Director of FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our company’s financial strategy. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis functions with a focus on aligning and driving financial performance to our long-term business goals.
This role requires a seasoned financial leader with exceptional strategic acumen, strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership. Acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team, you will transform complex financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Furthermore, you will oversee and develop the FP&A function, mentor a growing team, and drive the adoption of scalable tools and processes that enable data-driven financial strategies across the organization.
Define and execute a robust FP&A strategy to align financial planning and analysis with the company’s strategic objectives.
Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to provide high-quality financial insights, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk management through concise presentation of financial analyses.
Oversee critical financial planning processes, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, liquidity planning, workforce strategy, and customer acquisition cost analyses.
Drive the development of complex financial models, scenario analyses, and board-ready presentations for leadership, investors, and external stakeholders.
Lead variance analyses and provide strategic recommendations to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement and value creation.
Partner with senior department leaders to align financial plans with operational goals, ensuring accountability for financial performance across the business.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous growth.
Drive initiatives to streamline FP&A workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance financial visibility through advanced tools and automation.
Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and scalable financial systems to enhance forecasting precision, reporting efficiency, and data accessibility.
Act as a key liaison to the board, investors, and auditors by presenting clear, concise, and data-driven financial insights.
Around 10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, including leadership roles within high-growth environments such as post-Series-C startups, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
Demonstrated success in building and leading FP&A teams, driving performance, and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
Mastery of financial modelling, forecasting, and data analytics, with a strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Deep experience with digital business models, including cohort analysis, customer lifetime value (LTV), and marketing ROI.
Track record of implementing scalable FP&A processes, systems, and tools in dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
Proficiency in leveraging financial systems, advanced analytics, AI, and automation tools to optimize financial operations.
Ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights, delivering concise and impactful narratives to senior leadership, investors, and the board.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modern financial planning tools like Pigment, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
Expertise in scaling FP&A operations and implementing best practices in growing organizations.
