Senior Data Product Manager

TealBook is looking for a delivery-driven and results-oriented Senior Data Product Manager.  In this role, you will lead the creation and evolution of data products that support our organization's go-to-market (GTM) functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for expanding value to customers, resulting in increased TealBook revenue and sustainable cost models.


The Impact You Will Have
  • Lead the creation, evolution and management of data products focused on procurement/supplier management needs.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for innovative data solutions that deliver value.
  • Contribute to Build or Buy analysis, identify sources, lead evaluation of sources, and provide a summary of analyses and recommendations to the leadership team. 
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any data sources associated with your data products. 
  • Provide clarity and focus to diverse teams and stakeholders regarding prioritization, GTM opportunities, and customer potential.
  • Work with data scientists and data-focused engineering teams; provide priorities and data requirements and participate in Agile team ceremonies.
  • Track data quality and continually analyze and identify opportunities for improvement.  
  • Work with the engineering team to drive cost and operational efficiency in data collection and management.


What Are We Looking For?
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science).
  • 5+ years of experience in a data product management role.  
  • Must have experience working in Data Product Management and leading the development of data products that include company information (firmographics, classification systems, corporate hierarchy, financials, risk, etc.)
  • Very detail-oriented and unafraid to roll up your sleeves and dive directly into the data to ensure successful delivery. 
  • Customer-focused, working actively to understand the data needs of our customers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ranging from customer-facing scenarios to highly technical internal conversations.
  • Proficiency and experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions: SQL, Excel Pivot tables,  data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), etc.
  • Experience with Agile /Scrum processes, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Delivery focused.  
  • Adaptable to varying time and resourcing constraints. 
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
