Summary
The Technical Sales Support is responsible for the execution of the business line product strategy for sales growth and profitability. The specialist works with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop solutions for customers and grow business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Executes product strategy for sales growth and profitability for Market Area.
Offers product support and technical assistance/analysis to existing and potential customers.
Develops and presents value solutions for customers as well as value propositions and win plan for sales cases.
Promotes new product designs/innovations to end users as well as internal teams.
Provides sales teams with new potential customer identification.
Builds positive customer relations to generate repeated business and future leads.
Responsible for sales target numbers in respective region.
Offers insight on competition and advises team on pricing levels, etc.
Performs product inspections and provides reports and analysis.
Negotiates pricing levels and/or deliveries for product line.
Responsible for product installation expertise.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

Up to 50% may be required for this position.
Qualifications
Education/Training:
BS Degree in business or engineering or equivlant work experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in mineral processing equipment, preferably the related products
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong negotiation skills required
Experience in CRM (Sales Force) an asset
Experience in AutoCAD or related software an asset
SAP Software experience an asset
Strong communication skills, drive and performance orientation.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere.
Client skills including building and managing relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
Strong computer skills are essential – MS Office is required. Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
Ability to prepare and make presentations.
Organized, autonomous and work with minimum supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be physically able to climb onto structures and stairs in industrial plants and mines.
Work Authorization
Authorized to work in North and Central America.
