Job PurposeBuild and maintain a comprehensive view of the HR Compliance & Employee Relations landscape within which TechnipFMC operates in North America and, in partnership with the People & Culture leadership in North America and the internal Legal and Compliance functions, implement and manage an integrated approach to Employee Relations and HR Compliance including building awareness, training, policy and process alignment and control, and direct issue management. Through a proactive and holistic approach, the primary mission of the role is to ensure that TechnipFMC operates in compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, throughout multiple state locations and business entities, and treats its employees fairly and consistently.Job Description• Build both management and People & Culture community awareness of the Employee Relations and HR Compliance environment and associated company exposure, while offering support with a comprehensive risk management approach.• Develop and implement a holistic approach to mitigate all significant HR compliance and/or employee relations risks through an integrated approach to Employee Relations and HR Compliance including awareness building, training, policy and process alignment and control, and direct issue management.• Partner with the People & Culture leadership in North America and the internal Legal and Compliance functions, collaborating on policy revisions as needed.• Develops and revises HR policies as needed, to support People & Culture standards as well as to support HR topics at the operational business levels.• Participate in review committees, related to procedural HR functions, to ensure consistency across North America business units (including but not limited to Reduction in Force, Performance Improvement Plans, Terminations, Employee Relations Investigations, Drug Test Results).• In close coordination with internal North America Legal and Legal Compliance teams, directly manage and resolve complex HR Compliance and Employee Relations issues.• Manages annual policy revisions, to comply with state/federal changes for all North America locations, including rapidly changing legislation in California and Colorado.You are meant for this job if:• Accredited four (4) year degree in Labor Law, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Business or related field and ten (10) years of work-related human resources and employee relations experience• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines in the areas of employment, equal opportunity and affirmative action, and employee relations• Knowledgeable of key government agencies in the HR compliance and employee relations domains, with ability to educate internal teams on relevancy and make applicable recommendations: FMLA, ADAAA, OFCCP, DOL, EEOC, etc.• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including facilitating training on employee relations and compliance topics• Previous experience conducting employee relations investigations• Experience working with internal legal counsel and other 3rd party vendors• Knowledgeable of best practices for drug testing, DISA, and related legal landscapeSkillsHuman Resource Expertise (HR Knowledge)Leadership and NavigationHR ComplianceLabor ComplianceAdditional Skills
