Network Security Analyst

As a Network Security Analyst at TekSynap, you will handle various essential responsibilities such as defining network security requirements for both LAN and WAN, integrating approved security products into our architecture, and configuring standard communication protocols for secure data transmission. Your role also involves detecting and analyzing vulnerabilities using sophisticated tools while developing solutions to mitigate risks. Moreover, you will need to perform risk assessments and support the implementation of network security controls in accordance with DoD and DLA directives.

To be a successful candidate for the Network Security Analyst position at TekSynap, you should possess at least five years of relevant experience in defining network security requirements, analyzing network vulnerabilities, and creating effective security solutions. Additionally, a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification such as CISM or CISSP is required, along with a Top-Secret security clearance. This ensures that you are adequately equipped to handle sensitive information and comply with strict security regulations.

To identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities as a Network Security Analyst, I would start by conducting a comprehensive risk assessment using advanced security tools and methodologies.
