To be blunt, this role will be about:
  • Prospect (post jobs, source, etc.), qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process, including offer negotiation and onboarding. Follow up on interview process status and update records in ATS.
  • Build candidate pipelines by proactively sourcing from Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn and other job boards, social networks and/or networking events, job fairs, etc.
  • Effectively communicate your progress by providing weekly and monthly reports; partner with leadership for in-depth analysis of recruitment activity, successes, and challenges.
  • Help to create and drive processes within the sourcing, interview, and selection processes; including but not limited to sourcing action plans, individual and group interview guides, and feedback sessions
  • Work with and form relationships with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Provide hiring managers with tools and resources to support a well-informed hiring decision
  • Represent TerrAscend at career fairs, community events, and hiring initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Lever (ATS) and ensure accurate recordkeeping throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Find and partner with local talent communities (schools, community groups, human services organizations, etc.) to establish short- and long-term candidate pipelines
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects to support Talent Acquisition and HR objectives.


What we're high on...We value diverse skillsets, talents, and experiences. To be successful in this role we know you’ll need:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting required; at least 2 years as a corporate/internal recruiter highly preferred
  • Proven ability to recruit for Finance, Accounting, and/or IT positions at individual contributor, Manager, and Director-level roles
  • Highly proficient within Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with Lever preferred
  • Proven ability to source and build candidate pipelines
  • Experience with reporting tools, manipulating data in reporting tools and/or excel, and visualization preferred
  • Ability to build relationships with various hiring managers and holds self and others accountable
  • Experience using behavioral interviewing techniques across multiple positions and functions
  • Proven experience conducting and coordinating various types of interviews (i.e. phone, video, in-person, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to travel (~10-15%) to attend off-site recruiting events and engage with field teams.
