Testing /Soldering Assembler

Hercules, CA 94547 (*local candidates only)

$23-$27hr + Possible overtime (Weekly Pay!)

1yr contract (Excellent potential for extension or permanent)

Full-time M-F

Our client is a global team of innovators, leaders, creators, builders, and problem solvers. Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. They are looking for Testing/Soldering Assembler with some experience or interest in soldering to join their team!


You are an integral part of the production team who assembles, and tests complex and non-complex electromechanical assemblies for medical device instruments. Typically, daily activities include but are not limited to following detailed assembly and test procedures to ensure products are built and tested correctly and efficiently. You will follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instructions(WI) to comply with company Quality system and other applicable standards e.g. ISO13485. You will participate in team meetings which will provide you with guidance on your work areas which could include working in Clean Room environment. Also, part of daily tasks will include following Good Document Practices (GDP) while documenting critical information during assembly and testing. Further, expectation is to maintain clear documentation on instrument testing and troubleshooting as required to complete your process. Participation in Lean Manufacturing concepts like line flow, 5s, standard WIP etc. is critical to functioning of the production area.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
  • 2+s experience in testing and troubleshooting of electrical- mechanical assemblies or instruments
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
  • Experience with hand tools- Torque drivers (manual or battery powered), screwdrivers
  • Troubleshooting skills in electrical and/or mechanical
  • Experience in following Good Document Practices (GDP) and experience to document information during assembly and testing
  • Technical understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts
  • Ability to work flexible schedule with overtime and weekends as needed
  • A can-do positive attitude
  • US Citizenship or greencard holder
  • Pass background and drug test
