You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.• Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.Job Title:Financial ConsultantDepartment:Business and Finance | Financial Planning and AnalysisFunctions as a Financial Consultant for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team responsible for the development and maintenance of the resource allocation models used in the university budget process; provides guidance and training to less senior financial analysts on budget development and long-range planning efforts; collaborates with unit fiscal offices to analyze budget to actual performance and track strategic planning efforts for university-wide initiatives. Participates and pro-actively engages in development of presentations for senior leaders, including the Board of Trustees operating budget and long range financial planning presentations, as well as leading ad-hoc reporting requests.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; six (6) years of experience performing reporting, analysis and financial modeling in a large and complex organization; demonstrated ability to create and leverage analytic, forecasting and modeling tools; ability to create and leverage financial projections for scenario planning; solid interpersonal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders.Desired Qualifications:Eight (8) years of experience with reporting, analysis, and financial modeling; proficient with Workday, Adaptive Planning, or similar financial and planning systems.Function: FinanceSub-function: Financial AnalysisCareer Band: Individual Contributor - SpecializedCareer Level: S4Additional Information:The Target Hiring Range for this position is $87,400 to $114,900 per year.Location:University Square South (1032)Position Type:RegularScheduled Hours:40Shift:First ShiftThank you for your interest in positions at The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.
