Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $15.48 - Midpoint: $18.56 (Hourly N2)Department/Organization: 150107 - President's Office External AffairsNormal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pmJob Summary: The Concierge greets and directs guests. Provides administrative support. Serves as initial point of contact for guests entering facilities.Additional Department Summary: The Concierge is responsible for greeting and directing guests of The University of Alabama when entering Rose Administration. Will also provide direct administrative support to the Office of the President and Capstone Men and Women.Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to search, manipulate, and use various databases programs. Must also be able to accurately and quickly navigate the UA Web site and other Web sites in order to direct individuals appropriately. Must be able to use copiers, printers, and a multi-line telephone. Must maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor.Preferred Qualifications: The candidate chosen for this position should enjoy interacting with the public; especially the student population.
