We are looking for a Materials and Logistics Specialist to drive our global operations forward. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving activities, including kitting products, labelling, tracking shipments and preparing shipping documents globally. 
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, quality control, sales, and customer service to ensure smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation, reports, and databases.
  • Identify and resolve logistics-related issues or discrepancies, such as shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies in quantities or product quality in the shortest time possible.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and quality in transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to ensure compliance with local regulations and resolve any logistics-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain detailed records of service calls, instrument installations, and customer 
  • interactions working closely with the operation team.
  • Performed other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field desired
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the life science industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment for both domestic and international shipment.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations, transportation modes, and international trade practices.
  • Proficient in using logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners/customers.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of life science instruments and related logistics processes will be a plus.
  • ERP/MRP experience is a plus, but not required.

$70,000 - $90,000 a year
* Salary is determined based on experience level of candidate.
