About the RoleAs an Associate Client Executive II, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships with our High Value Customers in the Tax & Accounting sector. This position focuses on our highest value customers within our Tax Workflow products. You will be responsible for account management, retention, renewal activities, and driving cross-sales and upsells. This role requires a proactive approach to client management, utilizing data-driven strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term value.In this Open Coverage role, you will:• Provide flexible support across the sales organization• Cover for team members on leave or assist with high-demand territories• Temporarily fill gaps where additional coverage is needed• Eventually transition to a territory aligned role (timeline to be determined)Key Responsibilities:• Manage a portfolio of High Value Customers, focusing on retention, renewal, and growth opportunities.• Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement or expansion.• Utilize data analytics to drive product usage and customer satisfaction beyond the first year of contract.• Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed assigned quota for sales (40% of compensation plan) and retention/renewals (60% of compensation plan).• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer support and problem resolution.• Proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.• Monitor and analyze client usage patterns, providing insights and recommendations to improve product adoption and satisfaction.• Stay up to date with industry trends, tax regulations, and product updates to provide informed guidance to clients.• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status in the CRM system.• Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements within the Client Executive team.About You• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or relevant experience.• 2-3 years of experience in account management, client relations, or sales, preferably in the tax and accounting software industry.• Strong understanding of tax and accounting processes and software solutions.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at various levels.• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for building and maintaining long-term client relationships.This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and growing our high-value client relationships while contributing to the overall success of our Tax & Accounting organization. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $72,500 - $134,600. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $72,500 - $134,600. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
