Strategic Concept Developer

Threat Tec, a leading provider of operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a Strategic Concept Developer to join our team supporting the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) SME FTE Support Program. The Strategic Concept Developer will focus on force design and force development concepts, providing expertise from initial concept development to implementation and analysis. This role is critical in advancing MARSOC’s mission through innovative strategic solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine concepts with a focus on force design and force development.
  • Lead and support the full lifecycle of concept development, from initial formulation to implementation.
  • Conduct service-level studies and analyses related to concept development.
  • Design and conduct concept experimentation and wargaming to validate concepts.
  • Apply DOTMLPF-P analysis for effective concept implementation.
  • Contribute to programming, budgeting, and execution for concept implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver component-level headquarters correspondence and briefings.
  • Integrate knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process, Joint Planning Process, or equivalent military planning processes.
  • Perform organizational analysis and design to optimize MARSOC capabilities.
  • Facilitate bi-lateral information flow between the Commander and subordinate units.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Military Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Expertise in concept development with a focus on Force Design and Force Development concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting war gaming in support of capability development or force design.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience serving on an O6-level or higher Military staff within the Department of Defense, performing executive functions.
  • Prior service in a Special Operations Forces billet for a minimum of 2 years (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of MARSOC organization, structure, and mission.
  • Familiarity with concept implementation programming, budgeting, and execution.
  • Strong knowledge or experience in organizational analysis or design.
  • Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance is required.
  • This is a non-supervisory position.
