Operations and Research Systems Analyst (ORSA)

Threat Tec, a leading provider of operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations and Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) to join our team supporting the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) SME FTE Support Program. The ORSA will conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative analyses, support strategic planning, and contribute to operational effectiveness in collaboration with MARSOC and USSOCOM.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and develop analytical and technical input to evaluation documentation related to USSOCOM and service-level strategy, operations, activities, and potential threats.
  • Formulate problems, design research and study methods, and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex military problems.
  • Summarize and synthesize complex analyses into simplified terms that are relatable, relevant, and fully understandable to non-ORSA SMEs.
  • Coordinate and integrate ORSA actions with other staff elements and functions to ensure outcomes are actionable and operational.
  • Familiarize with and contribute to processes for updating the Annual Joint Assessment and Joint Military Assessment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve operational challenges.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in the Department of Defense on a Military staff, performing executive functions and managing bi-lateral information flow between the Commander and subordinate units (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of MARSOC organization, structure, and mission (preferred).
  • Familiarity with MARSOC future force capability requirements development (preferred).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, modeling, and systems analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance is required.
  • This is a non-supervisory position.
