About the role

We’re interested in meeting experienced Project Managers passionate about making a meaningful impact on people, society, and the environment. We're seeking individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment, have exceptional communication skills and are dedicated to delivering exceptional work. In this role you will lead projects within a multi-year HCD service transformation program, working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes.

You will navigate a diverse stakeholder environment, adapting your tools and communication skills to meet the varying needs of everyone involved in the program. You will diligently manage the timely reporting, financial management and clear communication with our partners at all times. You will build trusted relationships with your peers and contribute to maintaining and fostering the Today culture and effective ways of working. Your work will have a meaningful impact on Victorians.

Your focus:

  • Lead multiple projects within a HCD service transformation program
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, including strategic designers, product designers, business analysts, and technicians
  • Oversee project requirements, timelines, budgets, dependencies 
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities, from supporting teams during field research to interfacing with the offshore development team
  • Provide accurate and real-time project reporting, including budget and scope management, risk assessment, and project status updates
  • Optimise project processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

The details

  • Full-time ongoing role based in Naarm/Melbourne
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Start date will ideally be around February

You will be above to demonstrate:

  • 6+ years of project management experience in agencies, consultancies, government, or similar organisations
  • Proven track record of managing strategic, product, or digital projects
  • Familiarity with human-centred design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in both agile and waterfall project management approaches
  • Strong project management toolkit to add to the optimisation of project tracking and reporting
  • Proficiency in the Atlassian suite, Microsoft and Google suite
  • Comfort with ambiguity and complexity, with a demonstrated ability to navigate through challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You must be legally able to work in Australia
