TorkLaw, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team.

This position is based in our Irvine office and provides the opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of our web applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly, visually appealing websites and applications.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with emerging web development technologies and frameworks.
  • Implement web performance optimization techniques and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage version control systems and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, or Python.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile development environments.

In addition to a competitive salary, this position will receive the following benefits:

TorkLaw is a multi-state employer, as such, any salary range provided may not be applicable in all states. Any offer made to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include years of experience, education, location, etc.
