Job Description

 

Turner & Townsend is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on Management Information (MI) reporting and consolidating financial reports from various systems and entities. This role is critical in providing accurate and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

*A minimum of three days working out of the NYC office is required.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • MI Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance MI reports to provide clear and actionable financial insights to senior management.
  • Report Consolidation: Consolidate financial data from multiple systems and entities to create comprehensive reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • System Integration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial data from various systems.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with relevant regulations and internal governance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and provide financial insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on MI reporting and data consolidation and analysis.
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Strong Excel Skills (including Sumif, XLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and Graphs)
    • Experience with any of the following systems is a plus: Dynamics 365, PeopleSoft, myFinance, TM1, ServiceNow, PowerBI.
  • Working knowledge of month end, forecasting, invoicing, and financial management
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Information

 

The salary range for this full-time role is $65K-$75K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
