Integrated Warfare Systems Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy’s Team Submarine Office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Analyst / Engineer to provide full-time direct support to the Program Protection, Systems Engineering Leads and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Advanced Radars programs in support of PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors and Lasers.

 

You will serve as an RMF and Cyber SME within the Program Protection Working Group and provide direct support working as a Lead Cybersecurity Analyst / Engineer representing and augmenting the government supporting Authorizations and Assessment and Cyber Security efforts. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Advanced Radars program post Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Phase cybersecurity support to the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). You will be expected to oversee the Cyber security posture and Authority to Operate compliance statuses and measures for all Advanced Radars RMF packages. The Advanced Radars programs are in transition to the In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and so responsibilities will include providing technical and programmatic support services and an ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across all levels of government and industry, reporting to the Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM). We expect you to provide educated advice and deliverables to the level of SPA’s highest quality standards—delivered on time, error-free, and suitable for the intended purpose.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range:  $135 - $195k.

 

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to work in our office location, if required, up to full time
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience providing information assurance, system security engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems security
  • Ability to receive high level guidance and execute with little to no oversight; Need to be proactive and execute to get program through cyber requirements and any barriers
  • Competence in evaluating cyber compliance with DOD regulations and an understanding of the DoD Risk Management Framework / Authority to Operate (ATO) and Cyber Ready processes
  • Possess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III Certification or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Must hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
