To qualify as a Medical Assistant at Dignity Health Medical Group, you need a High School Diploma or G.E.D., and completion of a Medical Assistant Program or U.S. Armed Forces medical services training. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is also required, and previous experience in a medical setting is preferred. Bilingual skills can be an added advantage.
