Rural Carrier Associate

About usIn this role you deliver and collect packages along routes in rural areas during weekdays, weekends and holidays. You also provide a variety of services to customers along your assigned route. You may be required to use a personal vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery services.## Duties- Load and unload mail and packages onto delivery vehicles- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries- Follow established routes for efficient delivery services## Skills• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, snow, cold and heat• Sort, lift and push moderate to heavy loads of mail and packages to prepare for delivery• Deliver mail along your assigned route• Sell stamps, stamped paper and money orders or other services- Ability to load and unload packages safely and efficiently- Strong customer service skills to interact with recipients during deliveries- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks effectivelyJob Type: Part-timePay: $20.38 - $27.89 per hourBenefits:• Health insurance• Mileage reimbursement• Paid sick time• Paid time off• Paid trainingShift:• Day shift• Evening shift• Morning shift• No nightsWork Days:• Every weekend• Holidays• Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):• You WILL be required to provide a vehicle that you can deliver mail out of.
