Job Description

  • Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees. Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management
  • Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications
  • Review and approve production samples, and/or shipments as necessary
  • Assist management with implementation of “Continuous Improvement” initiatives
  • Maintain records; compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and perform routine clerical tasks
  • When necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activities
  • Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood
     

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
  • Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job
  • May provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracy.
  • Must have adequate oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 pounds

Additional Information

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.  The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.50. to $ 24.00per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include  overtime, shift differential. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
