We take pride in being the safest product in many application areas, allowing users to lower pH without sacrificing the safety of workers, animals, and the environment.Jones-Hamilton is an employee-owned company with 130+ employee owners located at our two manufacturing sites (Walbridge, Ohio and Richburg, South Carolina) and salespersons strategically located throughout the United States.About the Role: As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Jones-Hamilton Co., you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences while supporting our chemical product lines. You’ll be responsible for managing customer interactions from order placement to delivery, coordinating logistics, processing invoices, and maintaining inventory across multiple supply points. This role is essential in acting as the liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate communication and resolution of any concerns. If you’re a problem-solver who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has a passion for customer service, this could be the perfect fit for you!Key Responsibilities:• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing product information and processing orders.• Resolve customer complaints in collaboration with Sales, ensuring quick and effective solutions.• Maintain accurate customer profiles, pricing documents, and order details in our systems.• Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, prepare shipping documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, Responsible Care).• Manage inventory across terminals and warehouses, keeping logs updated for timely order placements.• Collaborate with Transportation, Logistics, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth delivery, accurate invoicing, and comprehensive monthly reporting.• Assist in the development of ISO documents and contribute to system improvements.What We’re Looking For:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• 3-5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the chemical industry.• Proficiency in customer service software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.• Experience in logistics, invoicing, and regulatory compliance for chemical products.• Ability to work effectively with teams across different departments (Sales, Lab, Production).• Must pass a drug screening and be legally eligible to work in the United States.Working Conditions:• Office-based position with rotating on-call responsibilities for after-hours support.• Involves prolonged periods of desk work with extensive computer use.• Strong communication skills are required for interacting with customers and colleagues in person, over the phone, and via email.Why Join Jones-Hamilton Co.?
