Senior Program Manager (Technical)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead our One Account, One Profile (OAOP) initiative, a high-impact program involving collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex technical programs, influencing senior leadership, and driving initiatives to successful completion in fast-paced, agile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Plan and manage a large-scale program consisting of multiple interrelated projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. Drive execution through collaboration with engineering, product, UX, and science teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate project meetings, provide regular status updates, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams. Build consensus and align stakeholders to program goals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and proactively address program risks. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Support and mentor junior program managers, refining their project management skills. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to inform, influence, and align diverse audiences toward common goals.


Day-to-Day Activities

  • Attend and actively participate in project meetings with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, UX, and Science teams.
  • Conduct 1:1 or group discussions to define program needs, establish plans, and monitor progress.
  • Lead program/project meetings, ensuring actionable outcomes.
  • Provide regular program status updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor program risks and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback and align on program priorities.
     

Qualifications

Required Skills and Competencies

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical program manager leading large and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong background in collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products through the software project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to influence senior management and align stakeholders on strategic initiatives.


Skills:

  • Comfortable communicating technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Proficient in Agile/lean methodologies, including frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Metrics-driven, with the ability to define and track success measures for programs.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong team-building, motivational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a solutions-oriented mindset.


Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
