Executive Assistant

Responsible for the daily operations of the VPEMC’s office. Under administrative review of the VP, is tasked with independently accomplishing a wide variety of duties for the various units in the Department. Tasked with completing initiatives that have an positive impact on the goals and priorities of the Department.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversight for communications from the VPEMC’s office with various internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serves as a liaison for the VPEMC in settings on campus, in the community and at USNH programs.

  • Responds to inquiries from students, prospective students, parents, staff, faculty and PSU leaders.

  • Represents the Office of the Vice President on campus and off-campus with Trustees, alumni, community members through personal contact, events participation, phone and email.

  • Completes research projects as assigned, in the areas of enrollment management, communications and marketing.

  • Responsible for ensuring the VPEMC’s logistical needs are adhered to in an efficient manner.

  • Working closely on budgetary items with the VPEMC to ensure operations have appropriate resources available.

  • Provide guidance to the VPEMC on operational items such as those related to procurement, HR, finance, along with implementation based on policies.

  • Provides a framework for creation of financial reports and data analysis.

  • Reviews and monitors all purchase orders for under the VPEMC’s span of leadership, while also serving as the principal contact for the USN procurement office; in conjunction with the monitoring of respective agency contracts or aforementioned procurement measures.

  • Serves on the leadership team for the division and works closely with each director to plan and implement the strategies and tactics for enrollment, recruitment, communications, and marketing.

  • Performs work, that is discretionary, confidential and fast-paced, in a professional manner using a high degree of independent judgement.

  • Assists with fulfillment of student recruitment objectives by processing admissions applications as needed, attending on-campus or off-campus events and be a focal point for timely answers to various inquiries and requests that are bestowed upon the area.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of related experience, or combination of education and experience totaling 6 years.
