You will be involved in ensuring software quality across a range of IT applications. Responsible for functional testing activities ensuring applications work as expected and issues clearly reported through appropriate channels. You will work closely with project stakeholders, development, and business teams to ensure test scope meets requirements resulting in quality software.The Opportunity• Demonstrate the outline requirements of the role.• Understanding requirements and creating key test deliverables such as test strategies, plans scripts, scenarios, and test data etc.• Participate in requirement review and grooming sessions and provide feedback.• Test estimation, scheduling, requirements traceability, execution, and reporting results to various audiences.• Identifying regression testing scope and coverage, defect identification, reporting and ownership through to resolution.• Adherence to the Agile methodology, testing standards and best practices.• Establishing close working relationships with internal and external teams including business users• Able to perform all job responsibilities independently.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What You Need• ISEB/IQSTB Qualified (Foundation level upwards) and/or AWS Practitioner Certified and/or Agile Certified preferred.• Minimum 8 years formal testing experience in a structured working environment.• Experience testing in Web based applications, Web Services, APIs.• At least one year working experience with AWS resources like S3,cloudwatch, Dynamo DB, Ec2.• At least one year working experience in Linux environment.• High level understanding of python, able to analyze and understand python scripts.• Good SQL skills to interrogate relational databases e.g., DB2, MSSQL, Oracle and NoSQL database like DynamoDB.• Experience of working to a formal Agile on user story, scrum and using structured testing and release methods.• Minimum 1 year of experience testing in AWS environment.• Experience of working in the Healthcare sector preferred.• Deeper functional knowledge and experience in ITS and related Blue2 applications.• Desirable:• Exposure to test automation tools and principles e.g., Selenium, BDD• Ability to maintain & manage selenium / cucumber java based functional test automation scripts for UI/API.Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.Role Location: IllinoisCompensation Range: $90,000-$135,000BenefitsFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
