Billing Specialist - $55-60k

Billing SpecialistJob Responsibilities Include:• Working with attorneys and their legal assistants in preparing client invoices, including electronic billing.• Work with attorneys and legal assistants to prepare custom invoice formats to meet client requirements.• Verify that electronic billings were accepted.• If electronic bills are rejected, work to make the necessary corrections.• Respond to client questions regarding invoices and payment options.• Assist with other attorney billing requests.Job Requirements:• A college degree or commensurate experience with graduation from high school.• Experience in a professional services environment.• One or more years specializing in electronic billing is preferred.• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with attorneys and clients.• The ability to provide an accurate work product is essential.• Any experience with legal management software is a plus.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
