Raiche and Company is seeking a Bookkeeper, to be based in the Dover, NH office.   


Requirements of the Bookkeeper:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience, preferably within a CPA firm. 
  • Strong experience with multiple versions of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is desired but not required. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Ability to report to several different individuals within the firm and communicate directly with clients. 
  • Strong understanding of how to perform journal entries. 
  • Payroll experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
  • Handling bookkeeping for several of the firm’s clients on a monthly and quarterly basis, to include reconciliation of bank statements. 
  • Strong understanding of both accrual and cash method of accounting. 
  • Experience preferred with integrating Quickbooks with other systems for vendor websites. 
  • May be occasionally be required to answer incoming phone calls for the office.  
  • Interact regularly with the Raiche and Company team, as well with clients. 
  • This is an in-office position with a potential to work in a hybrid capacity. 
  • Overtime is not required, but appreciated, during the months of February through April.
