With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: [$32/Hr. on W2]. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. *** MUST HAVE's: • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting • Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience in the entertainment industry preferred. • MS suite experience with a strong concentration in Excel a must About the role: Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a highly analytical and dynamic team with high visibility and collaboration across the client. The Senior Financial Analyst will immediately contribute to a range of strategic projects and high priority initiatives, helping to drive insights and analysis to solve business needs. Responsibilities: • Prepare participation calculations for Studio Finance team for inclusion in program ultimates. • Track incoming participation statements, perform reviews, and compare with associated audit rights to determine the Studio's position for possible audit engagement. • Review legal agreements and participation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations. • Assist in cash planning and forecasting for long range participation and residual payments. • Research and resolve guild and third-party audit settlements and legal proceedings related to Studio participations and residuals. • Work in team environment on various high exposure FP&A projects for executive understanding and decision-making process. • Must be able to work with and analyse large amounts of data. • Partner with other groups to obtain relevant information for related participant analyses. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting • Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience in the entertainment industry preferred. • MS suite experience with a strong concentration in Excel a must • Strong analytical and communication skills required • Previous experience in Participation and Residuals preferred • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines • Highly analytical, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives • Results oriented with the ability to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast-paced environment to achieve desired results. • Able to build positive relationships with finance peers
