What we’re looking for

 

Venatus is looking for a Yield Optimisation Executive to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Yield Optimisation Manager, you will become a specialist in driving optimizations and initiatives across portfolio of publisher partners. You’ll work closely with internal, client-facing teams to find insights and levers that will drive revenue and improve in key metrics.

At Venatus, we believe that data and iteration should be used in every decision - you will be a key contributor to projects and initiatives, ensuring change impact is recorded and presented back to the business. You will work closely with internal teams to improve publisher configurations and improve metrics on the business uses as Key Success Metrics for performance.

For the most-part this role will be working with internal teams, however, there will also be many chances to work directly with SSP and tech partners, supporting on quarterly reviews and strategic planning sessions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyse publisher data and find weaknesses that should be investigated and improved upon, working with PubOps team to action and implement changes

  • Work with the Senior Yield Optimisation Manager to build strategies that generate new or more efficient revenue for the business and its publishers

  • Advise on strategies for floor pricing which drives eCPM’s, while ensuring a high fill rate

  • Assist the wider team with SSP conversations that require data and insights

  • Present insights back to your team and the business, to

  • Pull and analyze Advertiser and DSP data that may be used for leads in sales-based conversations

Requirements

  • Good attention to detail

  • Analytical thinker, who can visualize data well for internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong experience in Excel, using advanced formulas

  • Basic knowledge of programmatic ecosystem
