As a Driver at Veolia North America, you'll be responsible for safely transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer locations to the designated sites. Your daily duties include performing vehicle inspections, reviewing shipment records, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and consulting with customers regarding load conditions. You'll also assist with loading and unloading materials and participate in housekeeping activities as needed.

To become a Driver at Veolia North America, candidates must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driving License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Additionally, candidates should have at least five years of CDL driving experience, a High School diploma or GED, and familiarity with DOT regulations concerning hazardous materials. Prior commercial driving experience is required.

Yes, Veolia North America provides ongoing training for its Drivers. We prioritize safety and compliance, so you’ll receive training related to DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and proper handling of hazardous materials. The preferred 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is also offered, ensuring our Drivers are well-prepared for the unique challenges of the job.
