Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager for VAS Issuing solutions (Tink, Pismo, VSPS, CoF, VTC…), in Romania or Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be accountable for acquiring, managing and growing strategic customers (banks, lenders, issuers) in line with annual sales and revenue plans.

The Senior Sales Manager will lead engagement with strategic accounts owning relationships with C-level executives, ensuring VAS Issuing solutions delivers value at all levels within the customer organisation.

The Senior Sales Manager identifies new clients, use-cases, drives sales/upsell/cross-sell, and stays updated on our products and industry developments.

Additionally, she/he acts as the interface between the customers and the wider Visa organisation driving additional value engagements across multiple product areas in the region.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for individual annual sales targets and revenue growth within assigned customers
  • Identifies valuable use-cases and involves other resources at Visa to drive sales within the issuing, banking and lending verticals
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify client needs and match them with Visa Issuing offering
  • Responsible for leading complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Responsible for planning and driving the sales process from initial qualification to delivery of revenue.
  • Responsible for managing sales and revenue forecasts, and keeping CRM and other reports updated.
  • Own and deliver a best-in-class customer experience
  • Responsible for large strategic and complex customer accounts with clients of all sizes (100k - 5mil ARR), with focus on T1/2 players
  • Ensures the fastest possible activation and onboarding of accounts
  • Create and develop strong long term relationships with key customers, while expanding a broad network of contacts within and beyond project teams, encompassing C-level executives.
  • Proactively guides customers in utilizing our technology to drive business value and ultimately grow value for the customer and Visa
  • Become an expert on VAS Issuing products/proposition and their value/impact for our customers' businesses as well as the latest development in the industry and among competitors.
  • Develop and execute an account and portfolio management strategy

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office as determined by leadership/site, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience with a Bachelor or Master degree
  • Extensive experience of account and enterprise sales experience are required, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience in the Financial Services/Technology space and experience in selling SaaS, B2B fintech or paytech solutions to large companies
  • Proven influencing, selling, and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Excellent business, verbal and written communication presentation skills
  • Hands-on mentality, able to balance long-term strategic goals with short-term operations and execution
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on getting things done
  • Ability to find innovative, smart solutions to new problems
  • A team player with exceptional people skills
