With the goal of positively shaping the business and regulatory environment within which Visa operates, we are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs Communications to lead our global reputation management and stakeholder engagement by:

 

  • Partnering closely with the Government Engagement and Social Impact & Sustainability teams (including Visa Foundation) to shape Visa’s global purpose narrative for our key stakeholders in support of communications and events across our markets.
  • Acting as a trusted collaborator and critical connection point among regional corporate affairs comms colleagues, providing streamlined solutions to support them in driving results for their respective regions.
  • Serving as a key advisor to Visa Vice Chair, Chief People & Administrative Officer and overseeing internal and external executive communications.

The ideal candidate is a sophisticated corporate affairs professional with a keen ability to build trust, connect dots, bridge siloes, and manage by influence to help corporate affairs colleagues around the world meet shared objectives. This leader will report to the SVP, Enterprise and Corporate Affairs Communications & Events, and will be a member of the Global Communications Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work at a global scale to proactively build and defend Visa’s reputation to support our regulatory efforts around the world in order to safeguard Visa’s long-term business success.
  • Partner closely with Social Impact & Sustainability (SI&S) and GE to build the wider corporate affairs narrative and collectively develop creative ways of telling Visa’s larger story.
  • Partner closely with the Government Engagement team on key issues identification to inform the development of central message frameworks that can be localized and tailored for use in our 100+ country markets.
  • Lead the development and execution of Visa Vice Chair’s narrative communications, including comprehensive corporate storytelling, collateral, media and social campaigns, and stakeholder education delivered via a mix of internal and external channels including marquis global events, e.g., APEC, IMF/World Bank meetings, World Economic Forum/Davos.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the internal and external narrative and communications for SVP, Social Impact & Sustainability and Chief Sustainability Officer and key Social Impact campaigns.
  • Partner with regional communications leads to provide assets for localizing the global corporate affairs narrative through messaging frameworks, story banks and campaign toolkits.
  • Supervise a core team of three professionals as well as agency partners, while managing a wide range of stakeholders by influence across functions and geographies.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
