Your responsibilities will include performing entrance control to enforce security protocols, conducting roving patrols of the courtroom and grounds, and managing stationary posts where you’ll monitor essential security equipment. You will also have the important task of providing armed escort services for judges, jurors, and court personnel, ensuring their safety throughout all proceedings. With tasks like traffic control and enforcing federal law to protect court operations, every day will be varied and impactful. Preparing detailed incident reports and securing courtrooms prior to proceedings also fall under your purview.
