Position Summary...What you'll do...As a part of the Walmart Merchandising Operations organization, you will deliver solutions that directly impact the company's ability to service our customers. It is not just a belief, but our way of doing business.The Inventory Health team's goal is to enable world class execution of product movement to deliver a delightful customer experience while saving them both time and money in unexpected ways.What You'll Do...• Business Partnerships: You'll work with leadership to understand goals and key business challenges, develop hypotheses, and create tactical research plans. You'll provide actionable recommendations and support the implementation of business solutions.• Project Scope: You'll own or support workstreams and individual projects end-to-end, managing risks associated with implementation.• Model Development: You'll develop data models for projects to drive business results and collaborate with project teams to implement modeling solutions.• Proof of Concept and Prototype: You'll manage the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready algorithms, overseeing the testing and validation process.• Data Collection and Analysis: You'll address complex business problems using advanced analytics, make strategic recommendations, and manage data analysis strategy.• Collaboration: You'll collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions, interface with external business partners and vendors, and oversee job-related activities and assignments.You'll Sweep Us off Our Feet If You...• Have extensive experience in advanced analytics, preferably in a retail, inventory management, or merchandising environment• Possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in model development, data collection, and analysis.• Have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.• Are skilled in project management, risk management, and people development.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
