Position Summary...What you'll do...The team you'll get to join:On the Driver Experience team, we're focused on creating an intuitive gig-driver experience that just works. One that is built through the lens of agent success which fosters trust and transparency, nurtures driver retention, and enables a differentiated support experience - empowering us to become a low-cost delivery partner and platform of choice for gig-drivers everywhere.The Driver experience team views optimizable contact rate as a defect and is focused on reduction of contact rate as our primary OKR. We do so by holistically analyzing the experience across every phase of the driver journey and collaborating with product and engineering to enhance existing platform experiences, reduce high-friction pain points, and eliminating working as designed defects.In a lot of ways, we function like a startup, meaning you'll leverage cross functional leadership, a collaborative mindset (understanding the impact your suggestions have on other teams' goals and OKRs), and a full range of product thinking and customer experience/operational strategist skills across all organizations.Where you'll help:As a Visual Designer on the Driver Experience Creative Content team, you'll have the opportunity to create captivating and professionally branded presentations allowing leadership to effectively present organizational updates at an executive level. You will also create and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic presentation design.Additionally, you will work closely with designers, copywriters, product managers, and other cross-functional partners to design highly visual and engaging email campaigns, newsletters, and website content supporting communication efforts for the Spark Driver app.Minimum Experience & Skills:• 5+ years as a designer (either working for in-house creative teams or agencies)• 2+ years leveraging project and content management methodologies and tools• Have a design portfolio with examples of brand, web design, and illustration work showing projects you've worked on.• Be able to tell a story and leverage design principles to engage audiences and convey information clearly.• Can thrive in a world of ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities is crucial, given the past paced nature of our work and industry.• Experience working on a variety of presentations and brand projects that exemplify expertise in designing brand systems, presentations, illustrations, emails, newsletters, and other content.• Outstanding craft with typography and content hierarchy.• Are a self-motivated problem-solver with a strong track record of delivering work independently and influencing other designers, adept at managing multiple projects, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and are experienced in cross-functional collaboration from kickoff to delivery.• Are fluent in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Word), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).You will blow us away if you also:• Have previously developed presentations for an executive audience.• Have experience designing and building emails leveraging Braze.• Familiarity with email template framework and responsive design techniques.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
