Position Summary...What you'll do...Organizes data and communication for legal requests by entering data into various systems; converting documents into production formats;maintaining production histories and video library; educating key stakeholders and maintaining knowledge on legacy and current company systems(for example, business, human resources (HR), retail, financial); tracking changes to corporate systems; searching internal information systems forlegal documents and information; identifying documents to include in legal databases (for example, Master Discovery List); preparing and sendingform correspondence and invoices for records; and submitting requests to Walmart Technology and Legal Operations.Demonstrates growing knowledge of legal processes and best practices by learning the lifecycle of the legal process; identifying issues in the legalprocess; interpreting requests to identify needed information; taking initiative to resolve issues in the legal process; and providing recommendationsand information to clients and attorneys on case matters.Conducts legal research and supports management of legal matters by identifying needed information and determining relevant facts (for example,involved parties, statutes of limitations, judges' prior decisions in similar cases) to support legal matters; determining internal sources for documentand information retrieval; researching and retrieving documentation and information; collecting and reviewing documents to determine suitability ofinformation for production and document confidentiality; collaborating with paralegals, in-house counsel, clients, and requesting party; working withparalegals and counsel to ensure legal documents comply with applicable laws and regulations; distributing document retention notices; sharingfindings with key stakeholders; and understanding and applying Walmart Legal Tracker and e-Discovery processes.Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice andguidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; andbuilding commitment for perspectives and rationales.Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying businessneeds; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing oni mprovement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity byincorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting otherswith how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
