Position Summary...What you'll do...The Senior Manager, Global Communications, will provide communications and public relations support for Walmart's U.S. End-to-End Last Mile Delivery teams. Reporting to the Director, Global Communications, the senior manager will be a storyteller - responsible for identifying and implementing new and innovative ways to promote Walmart's last mile delivery services; influencing internal and external communications within the business; serving as company spokesperson and a communications counselor to business unit leadership.Develop strategic communication plans by meeting with senior company officers and participating in cross-functional teams.• Counsel leaders on the most effective communication methods.• Balance changing and competing priorities while guiding strategic thinking for business partners as they develop plans.• Draft, design, review and edit internal and external communications.• Advise on the creation of communication elements related to global strategy.• Manage the distribution of communications according to plan.• Evaluate and ensure effectiveness of global communication plans and projects by establishing metrics and measures of success.• Research current, past and future messaging and approaches to identify potential risks and improvement opportunities.• Protect the brand and ensure company initiatives achieve intended outcomes.What you'll bring:• Robust knowledge of public relations and strategic communications in a B2C and/or B2B environment• Experience working in or with public relations agencies.• 5 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or related area.• Creativity and a desire to tell a story on large scale to diverse audiencesThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
