Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM (AU Time Zone)
Salary range:       $2000 - 3000 AUD

They offer personalized investment strategies, access to off-market opportunities, and expert guidance to help clients create and manage property portfolios. Their goal is to support long-term financial growth and security through tailored advice and comprehensive property investment services.

Role Overview: We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Video Editor to join our team and help us produce short-form video content for our social media platforms. This role will involve editing raw footage into polished, high-quality videos tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating compelling, shareable videos that align with our brand’s voice and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit short-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, etc.) from raw footage, ensuring the final product is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Collaborate with the content and social media teams to brainstorm, create, and implement compelling video content that supports our brand messaging, marketing campaigns, and audience engagement goals.
  • Platform Optimization: Edit videos to be optimized for each social platform's specifications, such as aspect ratio, duration, and style (e.g., square videos for Instagram, vertical for TikTok, etc.).
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, audio tracks, and platform algorithms to ensure that videos remain relevant and maximize engagement.
  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, captions, and visual effects as needed to enhance the video content and improve accessibility.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the social media, marketing, and content teams to ensure videos align with broader marketing strategies and goals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all videos are high-quality, error-free, and consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Time Management: Work efficiently under tight deadlines, managing multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio that includes short-form social media content.
  • Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard editing tools. Experience with After Effects or motion graphics software is a plus.
  • Creativity: Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to take raw footage and transform it into engaging, polished content.
  • Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of social media platforms and how to tailor content for each (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Knowledge of best practices for engagement and virality.
  • Video Production: Experience with basic video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and framing, is an advantage.
