Position Summary...What you'll do...Principal Product Designer - Core EcommerceAbout the TeamThe Walmart Design team crafts experiences and designs the websites, tools, and mobile solutions for millions of customers and associates. As a part of the Product Design team that is at the forefront of retail, you will be responsible for building best-in-class experiences that drive continuous improvement and innovation on the world's largest company. If you are motivated by complex challenges and want to build the future of commerce and consumer services, a Design role at Walmart could be what you've been looking for.As a Principal Product Designer on the Core Ecommerce team, you'll lead design for one or more key parts of the Walmart.com and mobile app shopping experiences and continually iterate on and evolve features and functionality our customers use most. You'll integrate business needs into design strategy and own activities and deliverables for multiple projects and engagements. You'll be an indispensable individual contributor, modeling leadership in problem-solving, design craft excellence, coaching others, communicating effectively with team and partners, and delivering very strong work on time.You'll set the vision for the best customer experience and create a space for cross-functional colleagues to collaborate. You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage the collective creativity. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team.
