Waters is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of a Field Technical Support Specialist ( Field Analytical Demo Chemist). Responsibilities include demonstrating Waters full range of products and services, including Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography systems, Mass Spectrometers, Software, Consumables and Services for the South East District, comprising North Carolina, South Carolina Georgia and Florida.
The desired candidate should be a self-starter, with good communication skills. Able to work as team with the local Account Managers and specialists in performing demonstrations, analyzing samples, conducting training, and delivering presentations to help drive sales in the district. The foundation of the Technical Support Specialist’s role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers’ technical needs/challenges and to provide support to effectively convey Waters solutions to those customers across several markets (e.g., pharmaceutical, food, translational research and materials characterization). This position will report to the Regional Business Development Manager. The ideal Candidate must live in the RTP area of North Carolina.
