Remote Guardium SME (US Citizen)

As a Remote Guardium SME with our company, you'll be responsible for deploying and administering IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring systems. This includes translating application security requirements into actionable Guardium policies and rules, configuring sTAP, and generating activity monitoring reports. Your role may also involve engaging with IBM Guardium support to address any technical challenges that arise.

To qualify for the Remote Guardium SME position at our company, you'll need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline along with over eight years of solid and diverse IT experience. Familiarity with IBM Guardium, various database technologies, and a solid understanding of security protocols will enhance your application.

The Remote Guardium SME role requires experience with a variety of database systems including IBM DB2 (both Mainframe and UDB), Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and NoSQL products. Your ability to install and configure sTAP agents across these databases is crucial to succeed in this position.

In the role of Remote Guardium SME, you’ll frequently collaborate with other departments including IT security, database administration, and compliance teams. Your ability to communicate effectively and share insights on database security practices will be essential as you work together to protect sensitive information.
